Advocating for Local Businesses

making your voice heard

The Estes Chamber of Commerce is committed to advocating for its members on key issues that impact the local business community and the broader economic landscape. We actively engage with local and regional decision-makers to ensure the voice of our members is heard in matters of land use, development, and public policy.

As part of this mission, in 2025 the Chamber supported the Platte River Power Authority’s 1041 land use permit application, recognizing the importance of reliable infrastructure for the community’s growth.

Additionally, we backed the annexation of the Elkhorn Lodge property, a step that aligns with our vision for responsible development and long-term economic sustainability in Estes Park.

In the November 2025 election, the Estes Chamber of Commerce opposed Ballot Issues #300 and #301 based on member feedback and survey results that reflected strong concern about their potential impacts. In the November 2025 election, Ballot Issue #300 passed, while Issue #301 failed.

We are here to make our member's voices heard—if there are issues that matter to you or your business, please let us know. Your input helps guide our advocacy efforts and ensures we are representing the collective interests of our membership.
