Estes Chamber of Commerce Award & Grant Opportunities

The Estes Chamber of Commerce partners with local businesses, leaders, and philanthropists to regularly offer award and grant opportunities. Nomination and application periods vary by award and will be announced through local media, social media, and the Chamber's weekly newsletter.

Construction Impact Grant

To support businesses that have suffered economic loss due to the Downtown Estes Loop construction project in 2023 and 2024. The Estes Chamber of Commerce will administer the applications and approval of these grants. The direct grant will be allocated based on a percentage of net sales loss compared to the total net sales loss by all applicants. Businesses will need to submit an affirmation of eligibility, provide revenue statements for the affected time period, and provide a W-9 form. A business must complete the application and meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Construction Impact Grant program:
  • Hold a business license with the Town of Estes Park.
  • Be physically located within the eligibility area.
  • Have no outstanding tax liens or legal judgments.

Chamber Hero

For the Chamber's first Gala and Awards Dinner, we are soliciting nominations for 3 awards for businesses and business people. This is the Chamber Hero Award. This award will be presented to a Chamber member who has proactively demonstrated extraordinary enthusiasm for our organization through volunteerism, participation in Chamber activities and/or committees. Construction Marketing-Match Grant

The Marketing Match Program will provide a 75% reimbursement (up to $2500) for funds that a business spends on marketing between May 1, 2024 and July 31, 2024. The Estes Chamber of Commerce will administer the applications and approval of these marketing match grants. This program will be open to all businesses physically located within the Local Marketing District and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Businesses will need to submit an affirmation of eligibility, a W-9 form, and provide receipts to receive reimbursement. A business must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Marketing Match program:
  • Hold a business license with the Town of Estes Park.
  • Be physically located within the Local Marketing District boundaries.
  • Have no outstanding tax liens or legal judgments.

Business Professional of the Year

This is the Business Professional of the Year Nomination Form. Nominators should include a local business person who demonstrates an all-around excellence in business. The nominee exemplifies the qualities of effective leadership, team development, and strong business acumen. This individual shows a commitment to Estes Park, has an outstanding reputation, and a commitment to the wider community. Nominate Here.

Ready, Set, Grow Grant

Harriette Woodard and Julie Abel are passionate about empowering women to succeed, that's why they have decided to offer the "Ready Set Grow" Grant to a female-focused business in the Estes Valley.

The value of this grant is $5,000. Applications for 2024 close May 24th.

 

Bank of Estes Park

Golden Antler Award

This award will recognize a local individual (or organization/business) who has made a tremendous contribution to the Estes Valley, and it will give the winner the opportunity to select a local 501c3 non-profit to receive a grant from Bank of Estes Park.  The total grant for this award year is $5,000, though the award may be divided.

This nomination requires multiple verification signatures and should be printed, completed, and returned directly to the Bank of Estes Park. The nomination period for 2023 has ended. Please check back in summer 2024.

Business of the Year

Nominees should be businesses that have demonstrated outstanding leadership, business acumen, and professionalism in Estes Park. Nominees should show excellence in their approach to overall operation and a high level of customer service. This business has a reputation for integrity in the community and innovative approaches to operating. Demonstrates all-around excellence in business. Nominate Here.
